The winning 8 man rotation against Alabama.

Golden 25/McRae 7.5/Richie 7.5
McRae 30/Richie 5/Reese 5
Richardson 20/Edwards 15/Reese 5
Hall 10/Stokes 20/Reese 5 /Edwards 5
Stokes 10/Mak 25/Hall 5

We can beat them at our game.
They play the same tempo 64.5 possessions per game.
McBee would be ineffective on D because of their length.
Reduce Golden's minutes because of injury. If he's feeling it let him play.
Play defense like we did before the 6 game home stretch.
Control the boards.
No more than 10 3pt shots.
Attack the glass.
Very winnable.
Bring it Jordy!!!! 24 points and we win big.

Everyone is saying the Vols won't make the NCAA tournament, but I am not giving up hope.

Beating Alabama is a good way to keep hope alive.

Against this team YES!
We can beat them at their game.
Think Jordy is the difference if he brings it.
And Stokes and Yemi have to dominate the big boys.

I got ya. Id like to find a medium. I don't think we will have much success going back and forth in styles. Trying to score in the 90s against Memphis, or upper 50s against Bama, it's just hard to constantly adjust style game to game.

Zo had some comments in Quinn's article yesterday that basically reiterated what I was saying. When we run a lot of our guys lose focus defensively and we lose that toughness a defensive identity. Can we run and still play the tough D, my guess is no. I'd like to see the slower pace, the tough D, and when it's there push it. I know it's a broken record, but Mcbee/Reese hitting 4-5 threes a night would be great for this team.

I think this will be a close game, we struggle at Bama and we seem to struggle against Grant. He has good guards and that has been our weakness, curious to see if we do any better at keeping their guards in front of ours. I'm gonna go 68-62, and could see that score going either way.

But I'm a homer, so....VOLS.

I agree.
We don't need to play at 74 - 78 posspg like the last 2.
I do think we could play under control at about 68 to 70.
