The golden ring that Barry wears.

Do you doubt that there is 1 out of 6,000,000 who has a ring that says, "There are no gods but God", written in Arabic?

Not one that is vehemently "Christian".

Sitting in a church for 20 years is both an action and an expression.

"A" church? It's reasonable to believe that he was sitting there more for the anti-American, anti-white, black liberation theology tirades that to receive the Christian word.

Eating pork is certainly an action that speaks against his being a Muslim. Killing untold numbers of Muslims is certainly an act that speaks against his being a Muslim. Denying that he is Muslim is certainly an act that speaks against his being a Muslim.

If he were a devout Muslim I'd have to agree with you here. I have never claimed he was devout Muslim. I have claimed that is "Christian" only so that he would be electable.

I am not sure you are using the phrase, "I think", correctly. After this post, I am not sure that you know how to think.

I'm pretty disappointed you'd go there.

I am not sure what "vehemently" Christian is; anyway, I have not argued that Obama is the Pope. I have simply arguing that, I do believe, in his mind he sees himself as a Christian.

It is reasonable to believe that is what Obama's views as Christianity. You might not see that church as Christian; but, then again, the Catholic Church sees every Protestant Church (aside from the Church of England, strangely enough) as heretics and not as real Christians. In return, most Protestants view Catholics as heretics and not as real Christians. I am going to say that so long as he was attending these services, they were making claims based on their interpretation of Biblical Scripture, and that Obama say Wright as his spiritual adviser, then Obama believes he is Christian.

He was electable whether or not he would have called himself a Christian or a Muslim. The only voters that really cared about that were the voters that were voting against him anyway.

I'm pretty disappointed you'd go there.

Well, when you buy into the black helicopter conspiracy theories I run out of options. Obama has stated that he is a Christian; why not give him the benefit of the doubt? Why go searching for the most irrelevant things in the world in order to convince yourself that he is not?

Politicians lie all the time about all kinds of things. Why give him the benefit of the doubt? Why is not giving a politician the benefit of the doubt being compared believing black helicopter theories?

Politicians lie all the time about all kinds of things.

Correct.

Why give him the benefit of the doubt?

Why not? What do you stand to lose if he is lying about this?

If Obama claims that Iran has a nuclear weapon and is planning on firing it at the US unless we invade with 500,000 troops, I might not want to give him the benefit of the doubt. I might want to see operative evidence. Of course, I would want to see this evidence regardless of who was in office and regardless of whether or not politicians had a tendency to lie.

Why is not giving a politician the benefit of the doubt being compared believing black helicopter theories?

It is a combination of failing to give benefit of the doubt for something that does not matter, and relying on the scantiest connections from the scantiest evidence.

wow, this is just...

That picture of him in a turban is all I needed as proof. That and his middle name is Hussein. This is just icing on the cake

Ironically, the individuals that are calling out someone else for not being Christian enough have chosen to refuse to acknowledge the Oneness of their God.

Who gave him the ring? Perhaps he wears it to honor his father?

Or he might be bought and paid for by the Saudi royal family.

How did Obama get into Harvard? Ask a Saudi Prince... - CafeMom

In late March 2008, on a local New York City show called “Inside City Hall,” the venerable African-American entrepreneur and politico, Percy Sutton, told host Dominic Carter how he was asked to help smooth Barack Obama’s admission into Harvard Law School 20 years earlier. The octogenarian Sutton calmly and lucidly explained that he had been “introduced to [Obama] by a friend.” The friend’s name was Dr. Khalid al-Mansour, and the introduction had taken place about 20 years prior.

Sutton described al-Mansour as “the principal adviser to one of the world’s richest men.” The billionaire in question was Saudi prince Al-Waleed bin Talal.

Given, the game-changing nature of this revelation when it surfaced in late August 2008, the Obama camp and its allies in the media, particularly Politico and Media Matters, shifted into overdrive to kill the story. Through a series of denials, lies and slanders about Sutton’s mental health, they succeeded.

The story, however, has come back to life. The elusive al-Mansour was a guest on the BlogTalkRadio show, “The National and International Roundtable,” Sept. 19, 2012.

In his introduction, the host openly acknowledged that al-Mansour “made news in 2008 when it was revealed that he had been a patron of President Barack Obama and had recommended him for admission to Harvard Law School.”

The host goes on to describe al-Mansour as “co-founder of the International law firm of al-Waleed, al-Talal and al-Mansour and special adviser to Saudi Arabian prince, his royal highness Prince Al Waleed bin Talal bin Abdulazziz.”

This meshed completely with what Sutton had said in 2008. According to Sutton, al-Mansour had asked him to “please write a letter in support of [Obama] … a young man that has applied to Harvard.” Sutton had friends at Harvard and gladly did so.

Although Sutton did not specify a date, this would likely have been in 1988 when the 26-year-old Obama was applying to Harvard Law School.

Khalid al-Mansour was a piece of work. Although impressively well connected, the Texan-born attorney and black separatist had not met the paranoid racial fantasy unworthy of his energy.

Several of his speeches can still be seen on YouTube. In one, “A Little on the History of Jews,” he lectures the world’s Jews, “God gave you nothing. The children from Poland and Russia were promised nothing. But they are stealing the land the same as the Christians stole the lands from the Indians in America.”

For the record, bin Talal was the very same Saudi who had offered New York $10 million to help the city rebuild after 9/11, but who had his gift refused by Mayor Rudy Guiliani. In September 2001, Giuliani was in no mood to hear even a billionaire blame America for inciting the attacks with its pro-Israel stance, no matter how deep his pockets.

For deeper background into why bin Talal might have been helping Obama, read Frank Miele’s excellent piece in the unlikely Daily Interlake of Kalispell, Mont.

The "People" are sitting on their hands and waiting on the next horrible event to take place in the world that will spike gas prices up another dollar and make their homes worth less than their meal they had for breakfast.

Because it has to be one or the other. It's obvious that the current tax rate isn't cutting it. If the rich don't accept the idea that they should be paying a little more, then everyone has to pay an equal amount. At least that's how I see things. The current tax code wasn't built for this kind of inflation.

I understand that many hv lost jobs and things hv happened beyond their control, BUT most of these ppl in mortgage trouble is because they had a champagne taste on a beer income. Purchased too much house and too much vehicle and probably hv many credit cards. They should look in the mirror and blame the one that more than likely got them in their mess. But they won't do that. It's much easier to blame others.

Why can ppl not understand that what is proposed for those that are wealthy and hv done well for themselves is a basic Socialist thought process. Punish those that worked hard and saved and invested and give to the government so they can give to those that sit on their backside or was lazy or chose not to pursue a successful career.

Ppl say they can't find work these days. Horse crap. Why are there so many illegal immigrants in our country working their tales off in the fields if there are no jobs? Ppl don't want a job...they want a position. We hv become a very spoiled society.

I suggested that he was just an exceptionally large and loud hemorrhoid in GS's colon. That would explain, in part, why GS is so full of crap. But I may have been wrong.

You really have an anal fixation don't you?

have you explained why his religion even matters?

Duh, any dolt should know that.

I'll accept this theory.

You two should get a room.

I'm not the one that cares about his religion or even think it's relevant to his current job.

again, why does his religion matter so much to you?

Well thinking people do and when he lied about Benghazi and suggested we should curtail 1st amendment rights when it comes to islam I would think that everyone would care.
