Supposedly, by Tweeting a recruit in promoting your school, you become a booster in the eyes of the NCAA. Hence, you commit an NCAA violation.

Anyone care to explain how painting the rock is any different? If it isn't any different, you guys mind laying off the discussions and plans to paint the rock? Please?

What did Freak say? I've gotta be missing a big detail if he approves of rock painting, but deletes Twitter unions.

How does the NCAA know what 'your school' is? All i have to do to get Bama in trouble is send a Recruit a Tweet promoting Alabama?

Go look at UT Compliance's twitter feed. They have lots of good tweets, including a retweet from Southern Miss saying current and past student athletes aren't supposed to tweet prospective student athletes.

Wow, thanks for the info!

Is Arencibia still with the Jays?

This stuff isn't enforced at all. Look at any big time recruit and you'll see fans bombing him.
