The Vols are rated No. 13 in the NCAA RPI and own five “quadrant 1” wins.

Despite Saturday’s 28-point loss, the Vols still have the SEC’s second-best scoring margin in league play (+4.8).

Per KenPom, Tennessee rates fifth nationally in defensive efficiency.

Extend Tennessee’s home win streak to six games.

Complete the regular-season, 6-0 sweep over “permanent” SEC opponents Vanderbilt, Kentucky and South Carolina.

Give Tennessee nine SEC victories for the first time since 2013-14, when the Vols nished with 11 league wins.

The line is way too high. Slumps tend to last more than one game it seems around college basketball.

This one is going to be a nail bitter.

58-56 Vols

Can’t stand the “12.5” how the hell are we going to score half of a point? Lol just call it 13. No need to over complicate things. Which they seem to love to do

It’s the betting spread, as in the vols are favorited by “said amount of points” how do they score.5? It’s ridiculous lol

It’s so there’s not a push...if the line was -13 then you could bet it and if it’s a 13pt game you have a push...this way there are no pushes and you will always have a winner/loser. The people setting the line don’t feel it’s 12 or 13, so they go with the half a point and by doing so eliminate a push.

If the spread is 13, and the game ends at 13, it's a push. If it's a half point, there's no push.

But how do they figure up the .5? If vols win by 12, it’s not 12.5 . Guess what I’m trying to say is, why do they complicate it. Seems you could bet on the 13 the same. I’m not into all of that, so am enlightening would be nice haha

I get that, just don’t understand how they use the .5 . Is it even used at all?

Bookies don't collect anything with a push.

The line is 12.5....if you take the Vols and they win by 12 or less you lose, if they win by 13 or more you won’t

If the line was 13 then they have to win by 14 for you to win, if they win by 12 you lose, and if they win by 13 then it’s a push meaning you don’t win or lose.

Oh ok, that makes sense. Thanks, Carry on.
