TrumPutinGate

Still nothing new of significance here. Same ole chum in the water to keep LG and the boys excited. All sizzle, no steak.

Obviously, two things happened on August 21, 2018 with Manafort and Cohen. Let's consider their import and the change in the dynamic they caused.

First, Manafort. None of the convictions has anything to do with Trump. But his sentencing, plus a second trial a few weeks from now, creates enormous pressure on Manafort to flip on Trump. He might not. But if he has the golden ticket, now is the time to redeem it.

Second, Cohen. Today, Cohen stated that Donald Trump directed him to commit a crime. That crime is not about Russia. It's serious, and was done twice. But it's not about Russia.

However, Cohen's lawyer tonight suggested that he might have information that Trump knew in advance that the Russian computer hack was going to happen. THAT, without question, would be collusion and likely criminal conspiracy.

We'll see what happens. But things changed today. It's going to move quickly now. We are in a new phase.

Is this the part in the movie where the good looking woman gets kidnapped by the bad guy and the good guy gets hurt or something? Next scene he leaves the hospital even though still recovering and vows to track her kidnappers down and exact justice without the court system?

Developments today warrant a clean break and the third installment. I've labeled it the beginning of the end because I believe that we are seeing now the collision of the facts and the personalities which will culminate in charges against Donald Trump and others. Money laundering, bribery, obstruction, conspiracy. Or some combination thereof.

So, today ...

It has emerged that as Bannon testified to the House committee, his lawyer would go outside and call the WH and tell them what was asked. He then went back in to tell Bannon not to answer.

A couple of days ago, Lewandowski said that he would answer all questions. When he got there, however, he would not answer anything post-campaign.

When asked if he had spoken to Trump in the prior 24 hours? He refused to answer.

As I say, this is the beginning of the end of this saga. its almost over.

It's like DejaVu all over again

Can we get all these LG fake stories combined? Not sure why he is allowed to make so many different threads that all say the same exact things?

Trump tweets this morning and he is lashing out at Cohen, expressing sympathy to Manafort for not "breaking."

Cohen is cooperating and has cut his deal. There is no point in pardoning him. Manafort is perched to do so, but hasn't yet, and so its Manafort he encourages to stay strong.

Gee, wonder why.

These guys have a lot of pressure on them and if lying will get them a lighter sentence, then they just might.
