Sounds like the left is determined to get him even if they have to make things up.

I could see Trump saying something like that, but since we have a single source coming from the Dems saying it, you have to question the veracity of the source.

If you look closely at Trump's defensive tweet, he isn't specifically denying that he used "s***hole countries". He would like to but he knows that his fellow Republicans in the meeting won't lie for him like his cabinet members will. Also, if Trump didn't think that Durbin would relay this comment to the press then that is a poor reflection of his judgment... and then you have this quote from Sen. Roy Blunt (R) Missouri:

"It's an unacceptable view of the world, and it's an unacceptable thing to say. You would expect the President to lead in determining how you filter your thoughts, rather than to continue to say things that take a lot away from what's actually getting done." - Roy Blunt (R) Missouri

I guess his refusal to unconditionally defend anything that Donald Trump does or says makes Blunt a liberal too, right?

"Told on him."

Just let that sink in, guys.

Exactly. It’s ridiculously childish to tattle to the press that the president accurately called places ****holes.

That’s what we’re dealing with. And now little *****es are actually crying about it. It seems that a lot of people actually care that he may or may not have said it.

That’s the country we live in. Truth out, feelings in.

If Trump didn't think Durbin would leak his comment to the press then he is an idiot.

... and as for this last line, more like: Decorum out, indecency in.

Well, everyone should knows democrats are little rats. That was silly of him. This does not excuse going to the press like a little ***** because the president told the truth.

This is all true but a world leader can't carry themselves like that.

Let's say, as an example, you are seated on a plane next to a woman who happens to be overweight. Now, you would be telling the truth if you turned to her and said,

"Hey lady! You are a cow and because of your fat a$$, I have to be uncomfortable on this flight. You need to lose some weight."

Nobody does that though because it's bad manners and it would reflect much worse upon you to say that than it does her for being fat... Most people know that some thoughts are better kept to themselves. Trump appears to be an exception to that.

I'm sure Trump is the first President to use colorful language to describe third-world countries in a closed-door meeting.

What's funny is that basically everybody in the country would agree that the term he used is an accurate description.

You’d be very, very surprised at the language that goes on in meetings. Every president since Washington has said unsavory things in closed door meetings. Of course most didn’t have an actual grown-ass tattle-tale. He definitely should have been more tactful considering the slimy roaches he had in there.

Trump aside, politics aside - just set that over there for a minute...

This guy was in a closed door meeting, came out of it and tattled to the press about a word used to describe places.

This Durbin guy isn’t respectable as a human being, let alone a man. Who would ever talk to him ever again?
