TrumPutinGate

Trump himself said on TV that he fired Comey because of "the Russia thing." What more need be said? Comey was partisan? His irresponsible comment about re-examining the Clinton emails--days before the election--a comment that had no validity and should not have been made, all agree, clearly hurt Clinton. Also, Comey has been a lifelong Republican, I believe. So most of what the conservatives here are saying is nonsense.

There have been NUMEROUS instances--by Sessions, by Kushner, by Trump Jr., by Carter and the other guy who recently pled guilty--of failing to disclose contacts with Russia and with Wikileaks. And now this:

Jared Kushner failed to disclose emails sent to Trump team about WikiLeaks and Russia | US news | The Guardian

Anybody who doesn't think Trump has tried to obstruct justice is naive in the extreme. He has no idea what he's doing, which is why he's made such a mess of things for the country and himself in every way.

whats funny is the guy who is pleading guilty, is pleading guilty to LYING. not to any type of subversion of the democratic process or collusion with Russia. AFAIK anyway.

In normal times, what has been uncovered would have caused a man of honor to resign already. Trump has no honor, at all. or its not true and he isn't going to bow to public perception which has been incredibly wrong in the past on this subject. at the very least the amount of times people have cried wolf and been blatantly wrong have dulled the senses of everyone else.

In normal times, what has been uncovered so far would have caused a Congress with integrity to force the President out. This Congress has no integrity because they are afraid of Trump's supporters.or they don't want to punish one of their own. sets a bad precedence.
I would love for each and every elected official to get this much scrutiny. talk about draining a swamp.

I am convinced that Mueller understands this, and is building a case so ironclad, so strong, so beyond rebuke, that enough Trumpsters have to concede that his election was a huge mistake of national judgment, and give the go aheadlol, since when does Congress report to the people? to the Congress to do the right thing and rid us of this menace.

it only takes one thing. prove one thing that is bad enough and people will care. people won't care about him getting pissed on by Russian hookers 10 years ago. he was a private citizen, can't hold the Ghost of Trump
Past to the standard of the president, which often seems the case in the arguments. he wasn't even an elected official.

as it is we have only heard the rumors of what is being built against Trump. Despite more than a year it has amounted to practically nothing at all, and nothing that I would deem worthy of getting rid of president. If you can take something to court and have it withstand Trump's defense then you will have him. not before. Its how our nation works and the lefts subversion of the process has been frightening. its so much about politics its not even funny.

what actually wanting proof that holds up in court before running off a president? yes I am "down to that".

whats the point of removing a Russian stooge if we destroy the democratic principals and foundation of our nation to remove him? Either way you have fundamentally changed America, and not for the better.

How so? He lied under oath when he said he knew of no contacts with Wikileaks when in fact he received emails from Trump Jr. about Wikileaks. That's how so

And this:

The news has dribbled out slowly, but the totals are striking: “the Trump campaign interacted with Russians at least thirty-one times throughout the campaign” and there were “at least 19 known meetings."
