Tennessee has ascended to No. 35 in the NCAA’s offcial RPI listing (the only 10-loss team in the top 50).

True freshman forward Grant Williams has scored in double figures in five consecutive games.

Freshmen have played 46.9 percent of Tennessee’s total minutes and have scored 47.3 percent of UT’s total points this season.

Extend Tennessee’s home winning streak to four games

Give the Vols their sixth SEC win, which would match their total from last season

Snap the Rebels’ three-game win streak in this series, which stands as UT’s second-longest active losing streak to an SEC opponent (lost five straight to Arkansas)

Sickening what Vandy is doing to Arkansas and Auburn to MSU. Take the first Ole Piss meeting and we should be 16-7 and 8-2.

UT needs Hubbs to score at least 13 to 17 points tomorrow night and have Grant Williams and Admiral Schofield continue to be relentless on the glass along with Alexander.

Isn't Hubbs dinged up? Or at least it seems that way. We need him healthy in a bad way.

Except it's not...need minimum 5-3...a loss just mean 5-2. A win obviously increases your margin for error, but a loss wouldn't be the end all be all.

A loss tonight will be hard to recover from IMO. Young team needs confidence and really needs to protect home court tonight and Saturday.

It's UT. It's Hubbs. Expect injuries to derail things. Dark cloud remains over our orange nation. I expect the base vols to start quick only to lose an arm or bat or both sometime near the start of SEC play. Kinda get used to it. Yeah...I'm a negative Nancy. Who wouldn't be given our history.

Yes, technically it's not.

But let's be honest, realistically it's a must win. You can't lose this game tonight.

At 12-10 (excluding Chaminade) and eight games left, the best finish is 10 games over .500. However, every loss reduces that by two. With probable losses at KY and USCe, that makes the realistic best finish 6 games over .500 and a loss tonight makes it 4 games over .500 (17-13). It's pretty much a must win without a deep run in the SECT to make up for it.
