R U kidding? Let one of our country's crown jewels of manufacturing be liquidated by PE guys and bond traders? Yea Right. We are almost building 20 million cars a year. Why should we let PE guys tear it up for a couple of bucks when the govt can step in and orderly cut the company and make a couple of $$$s for the tax payers. It worked for Ronald Reagan and Lee Iacocca. They made us almost $2 billion in the 80s

Ummm it's not the governments job to bail out the auto companies. The way way it ms not its job to bail out the banks or Trumps fail Casinos and hotels.

Hmm something tells me people at the VA won't be getting $400k salaries and huge bonuses to look at porn if Trump is POTUS

We don't know because he's never put forth a serious proposal on how to revamp the VA. Only his tax plan that adds $11 trillion to the debt and his flawed 45% tarrif that China wouldn't even pay.

HUGE problem with your scenario. The Hillary voters would be BEYOND PISSED if that happened. Many would sit out the election at a minimum, and a few might even vote Republican just to show the Democrat Establishment, including Obama, how pissed off they really are.

Doesn't he have to be on states ballots by a certain date?

If HC is out because she's under indictment I'm pretty sure her supporters would want a D alternative to support that isn't Sanders. AND I honestly don't think there are a significant % of D voters that are hard core Hillary supporters. She's the Romney of the DNC.

If HC drops out my understanding is that her delegates are freed to vote as they see fit. The primary vote leads to delegates who then cast votes for nominees. As I understand it the DNC and it's delegates determine the nominee.

I saw the bit on the up coming National Review conservative leader whine-a-thon about him. If they really cared about small government principles they'd be hardcore behind Rand Paul but in reality they wrap conservatism in small government except in social concerns AND foreign intervention.

Principles are a funny thing - if the people out there complaining (both parties) about gridlock and do nothing Congress and compromise really care about those things then Trump is the absolutely best choice. He'll get more deals done in government than any other candidate.

The reality is those who lament gridlock and lack of compromise are just mad their agenda isn't getting adopted as is.

Did you send this in on a walkie-talkie? And it got 3 likes lol

You guys hate Mitt Romney types but you want a Romney to come in and liquidate a company so him and a few guys can get rich? Hilarious

Just remember Reagan bailed out Chrysler and made almost $2 Billion

I rather a Romney come in and build a company to provide jobs instead of going in liquidating a company putting people out of work, moving their jobs out of the country while "he and a few guys get rich". That may be what you consider good business but it is not good business for America. The people that had those jobs are now burger flippers on the government teet. They are now called losers because their job they had worked 20 years is now in another country thanks to your hero and people like him. We should be concerned about jobs in America not in other countries.

Yea we do know because he has a TV show where he fires people for being incompetent

You honestly think Trump would keep those clowns from the EPA who poisoned that river? Nobody got fired over that. Or the IRS for targeting people? There are people at the VA who seriously cheated the system who are still there getting paid huge salaries, those people would be gone with Trump

PE guys aren't car guys. They would've liquidated the company and shipped most of it up to Mexico or wherever. RR bailed out Chrysler and made lots of money for the tax payer. Pretty sure RR was conservative

You have your facts wrong skin.

Ronald Reagan did not bailout Chrysler.
The Liberal Jimmy Carter did .

The "Chrysler Corporation Loan Guarantee Act of 1979" Pub.L. 96–185 on December 20, 1979 was signed into law by President Jimmy Carter on January 7, 1980.

The military then bought thousands of Dodge pickup trucks which entered military service as the Commercial Utility Cargo Vehicle M-880 Series.

In 1983 Chrysler was able to repay the government-backed loans several years ahead of time, resulting in a profit of $350 million to the U.S. government.

This was a very good move by Jimmy Carter.

Lee Iacocca became an American hero for his leadership in saving Chrysler.

Wow , someone gave you a like for posting incorrect information

He's faded into obscurity, time to tweak your sarcasm meter..

I knew what you were up to, I just refuse to get behind a sh|tty candidate just because they are popular. Rand won't win, but I still support him.

VnS is trying hard to convince the forum that Trump is the answer, it's just funny becuase the guy isn't even a conservative. Nobody seems to want to address that - he's a D who panders to the right. You guys are eating it up - I suppose I shouldn't be shocked by anyone who thinks Palin is the right vector to represent the populous.

Clinton and Trump are retards, we'll get what we deserve.

I'm no fan of Palin, have you seen the poll swing in Iowa? another strategic move brilliantly executed by Trump..

I agree Trump is far from being conservative. He is a very successful businessman that has created many jobs. No retard could ever build such a business. Trump is a brilliant lib.
