| | Senior Member | who has been to some? which are the best? are any of them worth ten bucks?
i usually go to one every year.
when i was ten, they had one in nashville called the haunted woods (not the same one they have now, it was actually in the woods) and it was the best. now they are all in the middle of town.
so what is the verdict? |

| | VN GURU | CC Ive been to Andrew Jackson's home the Hermitage and the tour guides there say that things go on there that imply its haunted. Might look into that...
My parents married in '59 and set up housekeeping in a house in Cherry Creek area in White county. I believe the house is torn down now but mom told me some stories about what happened to them there. A woman who lived there prior to them was killed on the 2nd floor balcony by lightning, mom swore she haunted the place. PM me if you would like to hear the specific stories she told me that happened.

The Haunted Woods in Nashville isn't there anymore. Or atleast the one where you actually walked through the woods and through that school bus with Freddy Krueger on it. We went to the "Haunted Woods" last year, and it wasn't the same. It was basically a pitch black maze and wasn't nearly as large. Their might be one still at the old Prison near the Airport and Harding Road.

| | Senior Member | I was born and grew up in Nashville. We used to go to the Haunted Woods every Halloween. You always had to stand in line for awhile to get in, it was so crowded all the time. They must have kept it open real late on the weekend because I remember being there at 2 in the morning one time. They have another one near my parents' house in Franklin. I'll have to call them and ask them exactly where it is and I'll let you know. |
