Harley Questions

I'm renting a Harley for a 1/2 day ride in California. I haven't ridden regularly for 20 years. Recently, I rode a Triumph Bonneville for about an hour and that was plenty big enough for me. I'm short (30 inseam).

Right now, I've got a Sportster 1200 reserved. Someone else recommended a Dynaglide but it looks to have a more raked front fork.

I know Harley's aren't "nimble" but I looking for the most nimble in the bunch.

Any recommendations?

You could rent an 883 Sportster, but you'll probably be the only guy on the ride that with a bike that small.

Your height really isn't an issue. My brother is 5'10" and rides a full dresser. I have a friend who is 5'6" and rode a dresser for years.

They don't rent 883's - I'm guessing the 1200 Sporty will be fine.

It will be fun at any rate.

Do they have Softail Classics or Springers availble? Might as well look cool while you're having fun.

I would go with the Triumph Bonneville, and be different. Of course the Harley riders might get tired of you outrunning them all day.
