I run several. Right now I'm signed up for the Goofy at Disney the second week of January. The Goofy is doing the Half Marathon on Saturday and then the full Marathon on Sunday.

I plan on signing up for a half marathon downtown Orlando in October. Also plan on doing the Half Ironman again here in Orlando next May again. Also want to do a couple "short" tri's before then to warm up.

Just need to get off my ass and get my miles back up and in shape.

Cool. I'm gonna try and do another sprint tri this year. There is one Aug 22nd and another one Oct 3rd. I would prefer to the one in Oct but I'm a little worried about what the water temp will be. I have thought about looking into a couple of 10k races. I don't think I'm ready for a half marathon yet. that's about 13 mile isn't it?

Half is 13.1 miles. If water temp is low you may have to buy a wet suit. I haven't done that but may have to at some point.

I always go that route hot or not. I did work up quite a sweat reading all those running posts. Got me motivated to semi-run out to the beer fridge and open a Killians. I walked back.

Don't want to risk over exertion.

Thanks, but I better not give up my exercise program.

You are always welcome to be a back up in case I over do it. Like trying to carry a whole six pack at once.
