There never really was any such thing as the "liberal press", that was just a political goof. But now we've actually got an "embedded network" and no matter how many times Fox's "news" coverage is de-bunked in both the national and international press, it doesn't matter. They have become the very thing Reagan claimed the press was, only on his side.... |

Freely admitting you're a Republican pretty much announces the stupidity in advance, and you can generally count on a person who has done so not to let you down assumption-wise once they get talking. |

Debunked in the press? Care to point me in that direction? They are one of the few news channels that gets it right. You can't count Hannity (he is right wing with Rush). The actualy NEWS is fast and accurate. I know you are a flaming liberal democrat, which is fine with me, but don't make things up. |

In the words of the great Stu Scott: Just because you can't play, don't hate the playa, yo.
I just watched the 2003 finale the other day and man, what a finish. How a country boy from Tennessee can turn $40 into $2 mil with some VERY LUCKY cards. Very exciting -- can you imagine saying: "I'm all in" with a million plus in chips before you? And yes, it was lucky. The boy is good, but he got some killer up-cards.
Now, if they showed EVERY hand (98% or more are edited out), then THAT would be boring.
****************
As to the question of the post: That Andy Milonakis (sp?) show on MTV is garbage and I think that EVERY SINGLE reality "hook up" show (e.g. Who Wants To Marry a Bachelorette Hilton Millionairre Midget) is a scourge to our society and the institution of marriage.
Call me a Romantic. |
