Do not squander your heritage

If you are not planning to vote today, please reconsider. Think of all those who have sacrificed life and limb since the formative days of our nation to give and preserve this right. Even if you agree with my opinion that there is not a good choice, make a choice. You can always make a protest vote for one of the other candidates, at least you are not squandering your heritage. You cannot complain, if you don't participate.

the lines here in bama this morning were ridiculous, i guess that's what happens when there isn't early voting. this state is behind the times, inbreeding still occurs as well. i'm going to vote later today, hopefully it won't be as bad.

i like to think of it as voting no to obama rather than voting for mccain. that's the only way i can justify voting for the guy.

Agreed. All Republicans need to make sure they get out and vote today. Democrates need to wait until "next" tuesday due to the long lines.

Someone was on Ellen last week, can't remember her name, but she was saying that a list should be taken of all the people who don't vote and anything bad that happens to the country should happen to them first. Like if a major flu outbreaks, flu shots or double flu shots for those who voted, and no flu shots for those who didn't vote.

got up early and voted (wanted to get there before the Dems woke up). Was #300 at our little voting place which seems like a big turnout
