Having gone through the same, I know that no words can comfort. I do pray for the strenghth for you and your wife to accept that which you cannot control and to have faith that Gods will and word makes you stronger. Prayers of healing, strength and and love are sent...

I will pray for you as well. My wife is also pregnant with our second child. We have a healthy girl and a boy on the way. The doctor's told us that our son has a heart defect and he will have to have open heart surgery around 3-4 months. I know it is rough but hang in there.

Thank you all so much. We go again today to a fetal specalist at 1:00 pm and hopefully this will answer alot of questions. Please keep us in your prayers. God is good and he has power over all. I have always believed that everything happens for a reason and have never asked God why. Just pray that he will give us understanding no mater what the outcome. This is the hardest thing I have ever had to go through in my life. Thanks again for your support.

I just wanted to thank everyone again. Yesterday was not a good day. We found out our little girl will not make it. The specialest believes she has a chromazome disorder called trisomy 18. The outcome is fatal. She has heart and kidney problems and her brain has not developed completely along with a cystic hygroma on the back of her neck.
We still need prayer because we have some tough decisions ahead. I consider myself a very even minded person and have always said that whastever happens-happens for a reason. Deep inside I know that it is also true in this sitiuation but it is so hard to see right now. I hate to bother you all with all my problems but do ask for your prayers. My family needs me to be strong and I am doing the best that I can. This is a good way to get my feeling out without breaking down in front of my wife and I incourage anyone else to do the same. Prayer always works even though we might not want the outcome. God is good and has power over all. Later on down the road when he is ready we will understand.

Our Lord sometimes calls his special children home early. We know He has his reasons and I think it's because He doesn't want them to be confronted with the pain and evil of this world. All my love to you, your wife and your family. I'm sure he will bless you again with a child to love. Be strong for your wife and we will be strong for you.
