| For the 4th we did a big neighborhood girll out with several neighbors, anyway, out came a clear glass jug and it contained grape moonshine. All I did was smell it, never put it to my lips. But a few others did and I think they slept in their driveways

| Moonshine quality varies from one extreme to another - from tastes good to lethal. The best I ever drank was in the possession of a TN Revenue officer who had confiscated it in a raid.
My parents lived in Washington Cnty. VA for a few years, and next to their property was a cave. At that time, you left a $20 bill under a rock inside it, and the next day there would be a jar of 'shine.

| I remember fondly the trips up to Fort Marx from campus. Jars of moonshine cherries for $5 that would last all weekend. Ah, fuzzy memories
