If you are in great shape x is the way to go but if you are looking to get back in shape you should start with p 90. There is a fitness test you can take to determine if you are ready for x. I don't have any personal experience with either but they are both supposed to be great programs. |

| excellent info, thanks. I'll take the fit test and see, I mean I lift and all but my cardio has seriously been lacking, which is why I'm leaning towards the Power 90.
I'll update ya in say, 90 days or so.

I just don't want to become a rail though. is there still room for lifting, or does it basically kill you enough that you wouldn't be able to lift? I've done psuedo-two-a-days before, switching between lifting/cardio in the mornings/evenings. would that be a possibility at all?

| I personally tried p90x for a couple of months and thought the program on its own began to get a little stale.
Yes, it will challenge you, but if you are looking to bulk up at all (which the program doesn't claim to do) the good old fashioned gym is the answer. A hybrid program with gym 4 days a week and some kind of p90x cardio 2 days a week seems to work best for me. |

| I have been on p90x for 3 weeks now. I have lost 12 lbs thus far. It is truely an amazing product. I still can't make it through the whole workouts. Its very painful, but when your done you are soaking wet with sweat and your muscles are on FIRE. I would suggest getting it, if you can afford it. It is a little bit expensive. Plus you have to go out and buy all the extra stuff like dumbells which most places have $1.00 per pound. |
