I'm not sure how it used to be, but that class has definitely earned its reputation in recent years. | this is why orgo has the reputation that it does. Organic II kills a lot of peoples dreams of going to a professional school. It's hard for everyone, but once you get past orgo II a lot of the classes are hard. There are some genetics, and micro classes that can be just as hard depending on the prof. That said my biochem class was much harder than organic. My prof teaches the Med students at UMiami Med school, and I thought it would be a good idea to take her 6 week course thinking she might leave some stuff out....she didn't. |

| O-Chem is one of those courses that tends to weed people out of programs...esp. the pre-professional people. Kudos to anyone else out there who's survived it.

If I'd not had some old organic tests to memorize, I'd probably not have made it to professional school. Dr. Schell pretty much completely made up some reactions involving mechanisms that were never covered in class. If I'd not memorized the outcome from old tests, I wouldn't have had a chance in hell at getting many questions correct. It's a good thing that the teachers are too lazy to create all new questions each semester. |

| That should actually bring my grade up to an A in this class, and I have an A in my other class, apparently my last summer class is a cakewalk A, should be a pretty good semester. |

| I felt weird driving home today, I guess for the first time since my first stint in school I actually feel a sense of accomplishment. |
