| I just got a call from my wife... this is a long story but I'll try to keep it brief as possible. When she was born, she had something called "pits" beside each ear. The doctor scared the heck out of saying it could lead to a mryiad of bad things, bbut everything came back normal. Flash foward to today, she's been sick with bronchitis, and we noticed last night that one of the pits were VERY swollen and hurt her really bad. She went to the dr and they want her to go see an ear, nose and throat specialist, and they may have to do surgery to fill them in... sometimes the pits can lead to your sinus or mouth, and they're afraid with an infection that close to the brain it could be bad. So, yeah I'm worried.

| Are you going to the ENT today? They are going to know more about this then your PCP.
