| I heard it was hell back in Nashville.
Sumner County and Macon County schools got out today because of it. |

| My brother lives in Jackson a couple of miles from Union Univ. Thankfully, he and his family are OK. Jackson has turned into tornado alley the last several years.

| I live right outside of Huntsville, Al and about 330 I got up to check the weather, and they had a tornado coming straight for my house at 4. You know how they list the roads that the tornado is going to be on, ya mine was one of them. then bout 4 it started hailing, then you could hear a roar, but i don't believe it necessarily stayed on the ground. it either skipped around or didn't hit. saw a few trees broke off but that's it. it was a nerve racking time

| I get all my local news channels out of Nashville and the storm coverage was on all night. Looks like most of the damage stayed on a line from Memphis to Nashville and into Kentucky. Last numbers I saw were 24 fatalities , over 149 injuries and one person missing. We go lucky here, the only damage I see is part of a Burger King sign missing. | It appears that most of Union University is no longer there. Just hope everyone is safe.

Based on what I've seen on the news, kudos to the administration and housing people there for keeping the kids in the dorms safe. That could have turned out a lot worse. Quote:

| Tornado Alley #2?? Strange, strange winter weather....... Global Warming ?? (LOL!!! )
Seriously- It is really weird and in some places, tragic.
Nothing like storm damage... Well wishes and prayers to all affected. We were lucky...
