It means that it could have been another set-up courtesy of the Bush Junta to further their propaganda campaign in making Saddam look like a coward as American heroes rush in to rid the world of a man who was touted as being on the same level of Hitler and Stalin so we invaded that particular country when really we were only looking to further our own national interests, whether the invasion be economic in motive, setting an example or for geographic advantageousness for further campaigns *cough*IRAN*cough*.

I guess it makes a difference or not if you care about being LIED to by a government you are supposed to support and trust. I don't know about you, but that bothers me.

Has this story been verified? challenged by the govt? reported by any other news agency? Was the source also a "street agent" in Miami?

Interesting how quickly the 'story' fell apart.

The guy does not show up in any records of being in the armed forces.

There were no marines in Iraq at the time he said that he was with the marines and that the marines captured Sadaam.

Sounds to me like trying to portray Sadaam differently than an old defeated man hiding/cowering down in a hole in the ground. :o
