I know that many of you live in the east Tennessee area so sorry if I offend anyone. I get to now pick up all of TN for my sales territory and get to drop Western Arkansas. With that being said, I have listened to probably 30-40 different local sports talk shows around the country. I have to say that the Sports Animal is by far the WORST I have ever heard. All the shows on there are terrible and many of the callers are beyond help.

No doubt. Listening to that station will cause severe brain rot.

I get so tired of sports talk callers who cannot have a conversation. They just say something and then it’s “…and I will just hang up and listen”.

All the people at Sports Animal are UT Homers. Same way with the bird cage carpet, better known as the K'ville News Sentinel. The deal is, in Knoxville if you are not a UT Homer and spew the party line, you will get no or very linited access to the program. I've seem it many times first hand.

It was funny when he posed as a reporter and got kicked out for not having the proper (Homer) credentials.

I heard he did some work for the Am station...but I can't pick it up.....does anyone know if this is true....I do know that the animal actually offered him some airtime but he turned it down.

When I get to my hotel room (wherever it is), I usually order a drink and listen to WLAC out of Nashville on the internet. Duncan Stewart and Brent Dougherty are very good.

Any thoughts on WNSR 560's afternoon show? I've spent alot of years listening to and reading Joe Biddle so I sometimes find myself tuning in.

104.5 the zone out of nashville isnt bad...Frank Wycheck is on the wake up zone...George Plaster, Willie Donnick are on the evening show....Not a bad station at all of course they generally swing towards the commodores....Dough Matthews and John McClain have segments on the evening show as well....

Mornings with Doc and Jeff is horrid. The KNS Sports Page that comes on after that is actually pretty good. The reason I hate Doc and Jeff so much, and I've said this before around here, is that they let these hillbillies or as hatvol would say "rubes" call in and just ramble on about how big a fan they are and so on.

Who gives two sh***? Ask your question, state your opinion and hang up the damn phone. Also Doc and Jeff are just two really annoying guys with their noses so far up the UT Sports Department hind quarters it gets ridiclious.

If you think they're bad than please don't come to SE Virginia. I've quit listening it's so bad.
