I think that to honor your 6000th post you should start a completely new thread in THE PUB on that particular post. It should really be something neat, but not necessarily something that will be long-lived.

Just something neat, or neater, or even neatest.

You know, I am a little surprised that no one has commented on the "new" LIO.

I haven't corrected a spelling mistake (except my own) in weeks.
I haven't frowned on anybody's"Chick pics" (because I haven't looked at 'em)


It's a kinder, gentler LIO.

And nobody even noticed.

Does that mean I can go back to the old me??

Another vote for the old LIO. I'm getting sick and tired of being the only one here that can't stand the illiteracy of some of our co-horts. Some of these kids make our educational system and a UT degree look bad.

I agree BHAMVOLFAN. If nothing else, someone who KNOWS their spelling and grammar skills are....uh.....weak, could at least type their post on a program with a spell checker and cut and paste it to their post. Of course, that would take a little more effort than posting a chick pic.

Good point. But, then you don't have to be well educated to spell correctly and have good grammar. You just need enough common since to know your boundaries. Very few here know their boundaries concerning LIO and BHAM's points above.

Since LIO and BHAM mentioned it, did anyone notice when 2345 left for a couple of days after getting ticked, and came back and started posting, his posts were very coherent, grammatical, and spelled correctly. Then he went back to his old self and we regained some absent humor. But, he said he knew how, and he does.
