Thumbs up

Will Crompton be the new freshman starter? Will Ainge and Schaffer co-start? Or did Clausen prove he is worthy of the starting position?

Ainge starts; Clausen at backup; Schaeffer at a flare back position (Someone who is in the backfield but flared out behind the tight end so he can get a quick flip or pass and do his THING); and Crompton learning a lot so he can be the NEXT MAN at QB.

New poll: When will the "Who will start at QB" threads end?

Eh, you just joined, so it's okay. I believe Ainge will start.

I'd have to say there is some significant pressure on ol Randy this Fall because I think we have most of the puzzle pieces in place to have a BUTT KICKIN' offense.

If it doesn't work out that way, I probably would be rather remiss not to place a large proportion of the blame on Mr. Sanders.

Ainge will start, Clausen will be be backup. If Schaeffer does not transfer, he will get moved to wide receiver and act as emergancy QB. Crompton will red-shirt and wait in line behind Ainge. It's nice problem having to many good quarterbacks than you know what to do with

Schaffer prolly won't go to WR. He's already stated that the only position he wants to play is at qb. If not, then he'll prolly transfer

Ainge is the starter until someone takes it away from him. Same for Slick Rick, he's the #2 until someone takes it from him, or he takes the #1. I've always believed that a player should never lose his starting position due to injury.
