This thread feels better with Norm in it.

Lagunitas is my favorite budget beer. No one does it better for the price IMO.

Trader Joe's and Whole Foods private labels are pretty good with a few varieties and very inexpensive.

Was not aware Whole Foods makes their own brew.

St Cloud Belgian White and Four in Hand IPA. Course they aren't craft beers but they aren't bad either. Price is really good. I think they have one or two more types as well.

Last time I checked it is a brewery in NY that does it for them.

There's a Whole Foods about 8 or 9 stops away on the streetcar line outside of my apartment... I'll have to look into it.

I'm on a serious diet at the moment, haven't had a drop of alcohol in some time, but no reason I couldn't have a cheater day.

Something tells me I'll need it for the Timbers match tomorrow.

Anyone tried the new Sam Adams seasonal, Porch Rocker? We had to search it out here in Sevierville but I thought it was pretty darn tasty. It boasts of a lemon aid flavor and was very crisp and clean. Good stuff!

Ultimate Dark Lager - Kreuzberg

Monastery at the top of a small mountain in Northern Bavaria - the best dark lager ever! The standard all dark lagers should be measured against.

Link: Kloster Kreuzberg - Gaststaette und Pension - Beliebtes Ausflugsziel der Rhoen - seit 1731 eigene Brauerei

15+ years ago actually met a monk (not sure if they still have any). Sitting in room with Catholic religious propaganda slogans on the walls. He was wearing a holster like a cowboy in the west that held a bible which he whipped out as he sat next to us to share a verse.

I love getting converted. Told my relatives I was really bad the last few years and needed a cleansing, so they took me here. Locals say the beer is gathered from what the angels spill in heaven.

If in Germany, this is a must stop!

Zero alcohol. I've already lost over an inch on the waistline in less than a couple weeks time.

99% sure they are contract brews. I sell Four In Hand at my C-store.
