Indulged in some Amstel Lights last night, it is the only light beer that falls in the good beer category, in my opinion.

Yes, I've had the Becks and it's not bad, I probably should have included it also. I prefer the Becks dark but thanks for bringing to light my oversight on the light...

Try to get it on draft or in a nitro-can. Most good dark brews really benefit from the gas infusion.

A few breweries offer liquid nitrogen widgets or spheres that release their contents on opening the can. It's meant to replicate a true nitrogen draft pour.

If you are ever in the northeast, try some Leinenkugels. Is brewed in small batches in Chippewah Falls WI by 73 people who care. Great Stuff. Wheat beer to Honey Weiss to Big Butt Dopplebock. Great stuff. Comes in many great varieties.

Bham what do you think of the Old Town stuff out of Huntsville?

Speaking of the Stripe, when you go to the islands you can get Red Stripe Light. Is a little better in my book.

If you ever make it to the south caribbean try some Wadablli. Great little beer brewed on the island of Antigua.

Nitro canned beers are really good. They are especially neat watching the beer settle and head develop when you pour it.

Had some Sunset Wheat from leinenkugels. It was good, but too sweet to drink it often.

oooh that is the one I don't like. It tastes like the milk in the bottom of the bowl after you eat Fruity Pebbles.

It will say Draught on the can. The nitrogen is in the capsule in the bottom. When you open the can it bursts the capsule and the gas then releases. You have to pour it in the glass right after you open it or it'll overflow. Pour slowly. Good stuff.

Didn't like it. Not sure why but I liked their Berry version as a change up. Couldn't drink too many but decent as a beer between beers.
