| A/V Cable Question I am trying to wire a couple of TV's for my office waiting room and am needing two 50' cables to run from a DVD player. Anyone know of a cheap place to get decent cables? I need one HDMI and one component. Best Buy wants like $250 a piece.

| Doc, someone on the board may be able to help you, but I have had to run similar cable for a few of our clinics, and I have found that once you get beyond 20 feet they are going to take you to the cleaners. |

You're not going to find a bargain in any store, anywhere. Cheap RGB cables should be easy to find, though.

| Best Buy also probably recommended he get a Monster Cable... When I meant he wasn't going to find a deal, that was to say not gonna find one for less than about $125 in any store. Websites always have deals.

| I ordered two cables just now from Triangle Cables -- out of North Carolina. I'm a little skeptical, as they were less than half of what local retailers were asking. Will post back with reviews.

| Newegg has a 50' HDMI for $114.
If you're running a component cable that long, be forewarned... you will likely have some signal degradation. |

| Yeah. Note that an HDMI that length won't be an issue, as it is a digital signal. |

| From what I've read - HDMI cables are HDMI cables - since the signal is digital one is in effect as good as another.
