| A proposal . . . I don't know if this bothers anyone else, but it drives me crazy. I've noticed that most people on this board do not know the difference between a certain few words.
Examples:
To and too
Your and You're
Their, there, and they're
Its and it's
I propose that we make a sticky in the main forum for reference, so that everyone can be assured that they're (they are) using the correct word.
Most everyone on this board is smart, and it kills me to see a good post ruined by ignorance (which means you don't know better, not that you're stupid).
I'm not trying to sound like some *******, but it is really a widespread problem that could be fixed with minimal effort on the part of the posters. |

Hah. It's just this stuff is one my pet peeves. I am as guilty as anyone else in regards to questionable grammar on message boards, but this is something that everyone can fix with really no effort at all and if they do fix it, we'll all look much more intelligent. Sometimes the little stuff can ruin an entire post. |

| So, I guess what you all are saying is that you know the difference but don't want to fix it? Personally, I don't see how it's any harder to just use the right word, especially if you know the difference. I guess I just don't get it. |

L-O-S-E is what you do when you don't win the ball game.
It's not "loose"
Whew, I feel better already. |
