Vols Fire Pit

Does anyone have something like this? I am looking for a wood burning fire pit for my concrete patio that will hold up well but fairly small so I don't have to tend to a fire all night.

Hahaha! That's pretty cool actually. I love how the flame glows the logo.

Are those spark screens not really effective?

There are some creative DIY pits on Pinterest you might check out.

Thanks for the info. I did not consider the wind aspect.

a friend of mine has had both styles

we both liked the clay pot a lot better

it was a lot easier to keep the smoke going one way

he made a cap for it,so he could stack yard stuff in it and it would be dry and ready to go

if you go with a clay one, your suppose to season it first,if I remember right it was just a small fire for a certain amount of time

maybe the first couple of fires,it has been so long ago that I don't remember :)

Chiminea. They make them in steel now.
