I use Firefox and it just seems like it is getting more complicated and jumbled as time passes. It seems like its a constant battle with flash videos and ads that bog down the browser. Is there a web browser out there that is, for lack of a better term, more lean? Less ad and flash friendly? Thanks from a internet simpleton

Chrome is the best criss platform browser especially if you have a Google account to sync it with what ever machine you are on.

I tend to use Safari more on my Mac though. It has the sleeker interface and the syncing between devices is seamless. Plus Chrome is a bit of a resource hog on Macs.

I use Firefox with no issues. I have Chrome installed along with IE (used to download Firefox) and Opera also. Try adblock plus for Firefox maybe? I don't know it doesn't give me any issues and for me it looks much better than Chrome. Chrome does scroll smoother though and is a bit more accurate with rendering some elements.

You could try Vivaldi (very beta, but from the original Opera authors) or Torch but I think they recently screwed Torch over with bundled crapware.

Chrome is slick. It also has a incognito window for watching porn... lol

Thanks for the comments. I have adblock plus but it seems that it might throw a flash video into some long cycle of trying to open but can't - maybe flash purgatory - and it seems to lock down the page for an inordinate amount of time. I don't know....

Chrome just plain is fast and with the right add-ons it is sick!

Firefox or Chrome, with Adblock or Adblock Plus, Click&Clean, and Ghostery.

I use Chrome now on my Linux box, but use Firefox on my Windows boxes.

You can also try Chromium, which is Chrome without the Google branding. It also supports linking of accounts and the same extensions as Chrome.
