I'm on an old employee plan. It's cheap. That's the only reason I stayed on Sprint. The are 3rd and soon to be 4th for good reasons. They've had misstep after misstep and their network still lags way behind V and ATT.

Maybe the new CEO and Softbank can turn it around. I'm not holding my breath any more. Oh well. As long as it's my cheapest solution, I'll continue to use them. I'm on WIFI 99% of the time anyway.

If I could get some people to join my framily plan, I'd love sprint.

Have you posted it around the internet? I've seen at least a few forums with people listing and joining plans.

sprintusers.com is one place, I think.

Kind of hard to take a company seriously when it thinks a hamster running around in an exercise ball is effective advertising.

I was with Sprint years ago before they had the iPhone. I switched over to AT&T and have been with them ever since. I've had my complaints over the years with AT&T re dropped calls and high pricing.

This deal is $30 cheaper a month, 10 GB more per month, no contract and will also pay my ETF with AT&T. No brainer to me

That is a heck of a deal. Would seriously consider it but with my daughter traveling would worry about her getting service.

After watching my friend run out of data on Friday night, I'm glad I have the unlimited data plan.

How is Sprint's coverage around Knoxville and what's their typical data speed?

There's a reason why is cheaper. Be sure to check the coverage map and where out of network roaming begins.

Good luck with it.

I have found it varies greatly. And frustrates me most of the time.

But, 95%, I'm able to stream music and podcasts while driving around with nav running. LTE is better around town, but still not as good as V and ATT (and still not in places you'd expect sometimes). I haven't personally used TMo so can't really compare.

The times I feel pain with Sprint is large crowds. Horrible at big events. Wasn't good in Vegas on the strip. Struggles at something like wing fest at the world's fair site.

Wifi calling helps in the basement.

If you're in LA, coverage should be fine. Sprint customer service has been atrocious for years, maybe that'll change soon though.

Fwiw t mobile has had the best customer service I've seen over the last year; I call customer care lines for each carrier multiple times per day for work, and t mobile is the only one that is consistently helpful. I get what I need to get done with the first person every time, without fail. Also if you read the fine print, they actually have the best deal. This whole bonus data thing is a crock IYAM

I agree Milo same here as a matter of fact I just got off the phone with T moblie. The customer service is good and every time I have called the first person that takes my call has always answered my questions or has fixed my problem. The only complaint I have with T moblie is trying to get reception at the casinos in Tunica.. drives me crazy! :)

All these complaints. I guess I'll keep overpaying with Verizon

You get what you pay for. I was with Verizon forever. The only reason I switched to AT&T is because Verzion sucks in Alaska. I'll likely return to Verizon once I return to the lower 48.
