Construction by the stadium

Just wanted to post some pics by the stadium to show some of the new renovations. They are minor but they are still fun to look at.

This is the new pedestrian bridge. Underneath you can see the renovations of the lot 9 parking lot. You can see they now added plants in between parking spaces. Also there is a big brick wall that lines the lot. This will be interesting getting to the stadium. A lot of people used to just walk through the lot. Now they have a giant wall to climb over.

This is the new student union that is connected to the old student union (the UC). It wont be complete by the time games start, but it should have brick covering the majority of the building by the first game.

Im assuming all the work will be gone before the first game. But they may have it there anyway because they usually have phil fulmer way closed off.

That is the old money wall on the right where the side entrance to the bookstore used to be.

I don't remember a pedestrian bridge being there before.

This makes me happy. That was my spot during the salute. Something about getting blasted when they go from Rocky Top into Fight Vols Fight that gives me chills.

It's only been gone for about 2 or 3 years. I just graduated in may and it was there when I was a freshman.

Yes, it looks like they just built a new deck on the old ped bridge location.
