Going to Cincy next weekend to King's Island, explore, maybe the zoo... Anyone familiar with the town and things to see, places to eat, etc.?

Thanks in advance!

Get the Fast Past for Kings Island. Yes, its expensive but you'll never regret it.

Did KI last year with Fast Past. Got in the park at 10 and rode every roller coaster by 2. My son just looked at me and said "dad, this is the best money you've ever spent".

Stayed in Covington, Ky, right across the river. A bit cheaper but still close to downtown. You can catch a ride to a Reds game from there for $1 pp and takes you two blocks from stadium. The whole area near the stadium has tons of bars/restaurants for pregame and post game. Very much a tailgate type experience.

Covington has a great area too with bars/restaurants that are very unique. Fantastic German restaurant there. Pachinko's is a good place for cold ones and pretzels. Got a coupon for free pizza from LaRosa's after the Reds got X number of strike outs in the game. Game plan was to eat it for lunch down the road. Barely made it down the interstate before it was gone.

Cincy is a great town. Haven't been in a few years, but lots to do. I recall an area named Mount Adams that had bars/restaurants

I just looked it up and The Beast is still rolling! I rode that thing many years ago and it is still my all time favorite coaster. Huge wooden rickety monster that bounces off the corners! They can keep their smooth as glass modern tube coasters that glide so effortlessly there is little fear of the thing just shaking apart. Beast for the win!

I've always wanted to go to cedar point. Millennium force looks ridiculous. I think there's on there named maverick that is pretty sweet too. Top dragster as well.

The new Horseshoe casino downtown is very nice and non-smoking. Lots to do this time of year up there.

Belerra's new horse track facility is nice. Big area of slot machines and lots of horse racing outside. I was there this past weekend. Certainly better than it was years ago as Riverdowns.
