| Which is why I believe in "If you kill someone we will kill you back" clause. Now this joker will probably spend the rest of his life in prison on our dime. Way to go justice system.

| The neighbors described him as "crazy" and it would appear that's a pretty apt description.
I don't want this to be taken as any kind of "blame the victim" observation but if somebody has gone to the trouble to put up "No Trespassing" signs it's more than a little prudent to avoid said area. At the very least one can expect the property owner to be surly from the outset and then, of course, there's the nutjobs.
I hope (and expect) Roop gets thrown under the bus on this.

| I hate door to door salespeople as much as anyone, but I don't care how many signs you have up, no one has the right to just shoot someone who comes on your property.
He may be crazy but the fact he went for a headshot for a kill shot should get him the death penalty, especially when he'd already wounded the guy. Probably won't happen but maybe he'll get killed in prison. | |
