I looked into the personal hotspot option for ATT and it would cause me to lose my unlimited data package (grandfather in) and I'm not giving that up so I can occasionally access the internet on my iPad.

It pisses me off that they charge an extra package to tether. I never go anywhere near my 2GB on my phone so I should be allowed to use it by tethering if I want. My cycle ends in a week and I just hit 1GB which is odd for me.
