It wound up costing me close to $1000 once it was all said and done cause apparently 25 over the limit is reckless driving. Keep in mind this is right outside of Atlanta and I was on a 6 lane highway going with the flow of traffic. I actually went 55 the next time I went through there and in my opinion, that was reckless driving. It's really not safe to be driving 25+ below the flow of traffic.
Either way I work in EMS and deal with cops daily and have a high level of respect for LE; with that said speed traps are gay and I have no problem with anyone shining light on police officers robbing people. | Speed traps are utter non sense. Citizens should go to their local authority and on up and get them shut down. |

I'm not saying she deserves jail time, but Jesus, when a cop wants you to do something, or not do something, it's probably a good idea to oblige him/her. | I've got issues with the highlighted in this particular situation. Warning drivers about a speed trap is not obstructing justice, interfering with police activities or something that an officer can/should make you stop doing.
America used to be the land of the free.

I think I'll call the cops on the high school band the next time I see them waving signs for their car washes at the McD's on the corner...

| That guy in the Uncle Sam outfit that twirls the big arrow signs outside of the title loan office or liquidated furniture store needs arresting, also.

| Seems ridiculous that they arrested her, but she really should have just kept biking home. There was virtually no point in trying to warn other drivers, I'd be surprised if any drivers could even read that terrible sign she made, and she could have just gone home instead of standing out in the heat.
I don't see how she came to the conclusion that it was a good idea to make the sign, and/or argue with the officer. |
