It was a couple decades ago, but there is still some serious damage from the Great hemroid storm of '86.

Honestly, I thought about it later and regretted posting that. Sorry if I offended anyone.

Didn't offend but mathematically the larger the universe is the lower the probability of evolution gets.

Just a simple statistic.

Wrong.

If you want to hear why you have no idea what you are talking about start a thread in the politics forum, I'm not derailing this really cool thread.

I'm interested as to why the larger the universe the less likely evolution took place. I mean evolution is a known fact. It may be happening somewhere else in the universe as well.

Whether you believe in evolution or not, its quite a leap to say its a known fact.

And what the *BLEEP* does Voyager 1 crossing into Interstellar space have to do with evolution?

Depends on how you define "evolution".

Nothing that I can see. But it becomes more apparent every day that you cannot post a thread - about almost any subject - anywhere on VolNation without the thread quickly becoming a debate about religion or politics. Same old posters with the same old posts. If you don't believe that, just look around.

There is a forum for that. Once it was called the political forum, now it seems to have overtaken the whole board.

Sad.

Game board seems safe.

Btw, I also find it interesting that voyager is still broadcasting. Impressive engineering. Anyone know how long it is/was supposed to last?

Ok, I know it was a joke about a movie about something like this but it would be funny if in a couple hundred years our version of The Enterprise actually runs into this thing and some dude on the ship is a Star Trek fan and they all have some Family Guy moment where the captain runs around real fast like the opening to Benny Hill and they all start chasing each other through the halls and vger sounds like the black guy.
