| First of all, I don't know exactly what a "manly" city is or how they're defining one, but if I had to take a stab, I'd probably put Knoxville above Nashville. It's much more blue collar and with the mountains within sight, also offers "manly" outdoors opportunities that I would say Nashville wouldn't. I know Nashville has the whole country music scene, but let's be honest: with a few exceptions, that's not exactly manly anymore.

| Interesting to see my hometown of Memphis in the top 3. How did San Francisco even make the top 50?

The COMBOS® brand understands that Americans take great pride in their hometowns. This spurred the idea for the first formal study on the manliest cities in America in 2009 – specifically titled “America’s Manliest Cities.”
This year marks the fourth annual “America’s Manliest Cities” study, which provides updated rankings as a fun way to let the men of America know exactly where they stand against their brethren coast-to-coast.
COMBOS® – the hearty, pretzel and cracker snack made with real cheese – partnered with Bert Sperling, the research expert behind the popular “Best Places to Live” studies to develop the fourth iteration of the annual study. For more than 18 years, Sperling’s BestPlaces has been analyzing data about people and places, and rating them for major publications and media outlets. Sperling’s BestPlaces is known for providing a high level of accurate, up-to-date information in a useful and entertaining format

| I think Fort Worth would laugh that Dallas is on that list. Fort Worth -- where they still run cattle thru town just to show how it's done.

| And Harlan, KY didn't make the list because none of the evaluators sent there were heard from again.

| I have a strong feeling this directly correlates with amount of COMBOS sold in each city. |
