Volunteer automotive paint colors

Im hoping to paint my car up a little bit this summer and want to do a UT orange theme. Anyone have experience with coating cars and where is the best place to get Vol-ish orange paint?

Painting my calipers and other high heat pieces...

Try calling some local body shops.

I'm pretty sure you're not the first to ask.

Calipers, hood vent, valve cover. Car is black with red brembos and accent colors, plan to change red to orange.

EDIT: Car is a Mitsubishi Evo 9

That would look hot, Sando.

Won't help, since it's an OEM color, but here's mine:

Dang, that's a nice color, the closest thing I have found so far is "Lamborghini" orange. Seems to be a hard paint to get a hold of though.

Can't get the picture to work for some reason

I don't know if you can get ahold of motorcycle OEM paints, but it's a nice color. It's way too flashy for a car, but perfect for calipers and accents. It has a ridiculous amount of gold flake.

I don't know what it's called. Kawi orange. Don't think they've used it for several years.

Might take a look at Ford's competition orange.

It might be too dark though.

Failing that, I think any powder coat shop could do your valve cover and fmic.

Why... Would anyone powdercoat an intercooler?

I did have powdercoated wheels once though

Anodizing would be best for the fmic. Any sort of paint would hold more heat.
