| Govt plans to axe very important bird... Check the website out. Evidently the govt is planning on shutting down production of this UAV that not only ptotects our service men and women, but also is used in humanitarian efforts as well. Support Global Hawk |

| | Rational Thought Allowed? | At between $35-104M per bird, I can easily see why this is being scrapped.

| Not cheap by any means, but the next best model UAV is way more expensive. It's a matter of National Security. I'm sure there are many more projects out there that have way less use than these. |

I would rather use my money for my own purposes.

You can use some your money for whatever you want, but Uncle Sam is still gonna get his. |

2. Uncle Sam should stop taking my money; Uncle Sam takes my money because he wants to fund stupid projects; if he stops funding enough stupid projects, he will no longer need my money; if he no longer needs my money, maybe he will stop taking it.

I don't think he will stop funding projects to stop taking your money anytime soon. Just a hunch, though. |

Just a hunch, though. | So, because he is not going to stop taking my money, I should follow your link, click on the support global hawk link, and ensure that they continue to waste my money on programs that actually might serve to spy on me? That makes a lot of sense.

That's the **** that needs to be cut. | Protecting the troops can be very cost-efficient: get them the f*** out of Afghanistan and back to America. Protecting humanitarian aid is pretty cost-efficient, as well: stop the government participation in humanitarian aid. The United States government is not, nor should it be, a charitable organization.
