| in a pickle
So, I live in Cali, told my brother and sister I wanted to come back home after a bad breakup with a girl I love. One sent money for drive. This was Sunday. She begged me to stay once she found out and we have been mostly great since. I wanna come home, but I don't wanna lose her. Her dad is in bad health, so she can't come and me leaving burns too many bridges to come back. What would you do? |

| can I ask how old and how long you've been together?
She didn't ask you to stay together until she found you were leaving? And her father is sick? Also what does "mostly great" really mean when you're talking about 2-3 days?
Sorry but those are some real red flags to me. There was a reason that caused the "bad breakup" and I'm guessing that hasn't disappeared yet | |

Maybe if the dad is on his death bed stay as a friend to her so it's not so harsh. | |

| No one on here can really give a definitive answer on what you should do with only the limited knowledge we have of your situation. If it were me, and he father's condition is grave, I would probably try and tough it out for now. But I would sit her down and really make concrete plans for the future. If she is the one for you, y'all will be able to come to some kind of compromise. | |
