I'm very familiar with this school district and it's nothing for someone to walk down those halls and see someone with a rebel flag on their shirt.

Not advocating wearing it but its something think about in the discussion....

Also, not a very well written article. Just wanted some opinions on the matter.

I call bull on the above bolded part. To you it may represent "southern pride". But to a lot of other people it represents something entirely different and to pretend not to understand that is ignorant. There were other confederate flags and emblems people could use that don't carry the same stigma as the battle flag does. The conscious decision to keep that particular flag in the forefront in my opinion may not be racist but its very very offensive.
