| I hope none of you ever see the FBI video. They match the 911 call to the school security video. In law enforcement 20 years and it is the hardest thing I've ever had to watch.

| As a parent, the devastation I felt when that happened is indescribable. I sent a card, just addressed it to Any Student, to the high school's address. On the card I wrote I just wanted to let them know people on the other side of the country were thinking of them, and praying for them. (I'm on the verge of tears now writing this.)
A few weeks later, I got two cards in the mail. I still have them. White with a blue flower, and the words We Are Columbine. They were thank you notes from two students. When I opened the mailbox and saw those words We Are Columbine, it was one of the most profound moments of my entire life. I remember it like it was yesterday.
