anybody have any recommendations for entertainment in Tunica? We'll obviously be gambling, just looking for some insider info on restaurants, clubs, must do's, etc...me & a buddy are heading there this weekend and aren't trying to gamble all of our money away!

Go and stay at Goldstrike, great gambling action plus they have a club in the casino. It is right next to Horseshoe which has some great action also. For golf I would say head over to Harrahs casino, they have the best golf action in tunica.

Go to the casino bar and take a drink everytime somebody rolls by on a scooter or is carrying their oxygen.

We're staying at Goldstrike.

Haha sounds like a plan!

Thanks everyone. It's a free trip so at least I'll get my money's worth (and hopefully some of the casino's money too) :)

Good call.. I will be the drunk guy at the blackjack and poker table with all the black chips. :)

Have a great time and good luck!

Hollywood Casino has (had?) all you can eat seafood buffet on Fri or Sat. Even had lobster on that bad boy.

I've always heard the Paula Deen buffet at Harrah's is outstanding. I usually just eat at the buffet at Sam's Town, because that is where all my comps are.

For golf, you should play at Tunica National. It's on the main highway and easy to get to. It's a tough course. It has the most sand I have ever witnessed on a golf course. The greens are slick as ice, also. I did shoot one of the best rounds of my life there, however.

The buffet is ok. I just suggest using a napkin to hold the tongs. All those people beef up, lick their fingers, sneeze, pick, then go back up and grab the tongs for more food.

Tunica

Mississippi's version of Las Vegas.

Enjoy - if it's free you'll have a good time. My son had his bachelor party there and we did.

Likewise!

I'll be the guy splitting time at the craps table, playing roulette, and some black jack....and the bar... (not necessarily in that order!)

I had my bachelor party in Vegas and trust me, I'm not expecting anything like that! (thankful too, I don't think I could handle that again!)

ok, thanks
hows the poker room

Tbh. I only play poker at Horseshoe and it is great. The only other place I play poker at is at Sams Town. As far as all other table games Goldstrike is home to me. Best overall Casino in Tunica hands down (IMO).
