i don't care if this sounds racist or not but fried chicken, watermelon, and grape kool-aid is damn good together. I take the kids on picnics sometimes and all three love the combo.

If I add salt to a watermelon then I taste salt and watermelon.

Isn't watermelon supposed to be sweet?

I bet that's where it came from. Country folk probably put salt on watermelon to be able to eat if the watermelon was old or going bad.
