| Yes, I have been on four cruises. If you want to ask some questions, I will be more than happy to try to assist. |

| There's a previous thread that had some good info in it also.
Cruising is the best way to go as far as I'm concerned.

| very fun. Been on a few, all in the Caribbean. All on Carnival.
My 2 cents. Carnival is fun as well as cheapest. But with cheapest you also get all varieties of people from those never been out of their trailer park and up. Not a problem because the boats are big enough.
Best thing about the boat is that once you're on your food and room are paid for. If you leave the boat hungy its your own fault. Plus they have something going on all the time. They'll give a list of stuff from bingo to art to hairy man contest to ice carvings. Stuff constantly happening. With any vacation the biggest cost is food and lodging so that's out of the way.
But then there's money. When you board Carnival you back your stay with something such as a credit card (or even money). Then you're issued a Sail and Sign card and all transactions after that go on the card (except for gambling which is cash only). At the end of the cruise they slide a bill under the door. If you dont do anything they'll just put it against that credit card. Its like Vegas and chips. You dont 'think' you're spending money because nothing comes out of your pocket. At 10pm when the server asks "would you like that a double" well, that's just a stroke of friggin' genius. That is until you get your bill and realize you've been drinking $14 drinks all night. Just be prepared.
All in all you'll have a good time. |
