Charlotte would be a step up for you then. This city is very diverse in college team support since there is not a big school nearby. Makes it fun! Lots of stuff to do during off season.

That's what I keep hearing. I like Memphis for the most part, but I have yet to hear a bad thing about Charlotte.

Awesome. I am definitely looking forward to the opportunity.

As far as schools... volwindy can probably help more than I will be able to. But it does seem like there are plennnnnty to choose from, both private and public. As someone said, south charlotte is where the money is, and living in south Carolina or huntersville/concord/kannapolis isn't a bad deal.

I don't have kids, but people rave about fort mill schools, so if your job is on the south side, I'd highly consider living on the SC side, plus its cheaper everything. People also like ballantyne and Huntersville areas, but those are high traffic areas on the interstate. I'm moving to the south park area in 2 months, which is one of my favorite areas.

Agree. If you live in Concord or Huntersville and have to be at work before 9, expect 1-1.5 hr commute.

Ut, usc, uga, wva, and Michigan state alumni all have their game watches at the same place, so it can get crowded, but it is a good family fun time, I love going, but this year was depressing to go to of course!

I'm in sales so location regarding work isn't a big deal. I only would go to the office once or twice a week.

No doubt. That was my next question. Do many UT games get played on TV or would I need to purchase College Gameday package to get them?

I love Charlotte. It's a great city that doesn't feel as big as it is.
They've actually got good morning sports radio, too.
Please feel free to jump aboard the Panthers bandwagon!

Basketball you'd need a package since it becomes all about the acc. Football you're usually good.

Have several family members spread throughout Charlotte. From Huntersville, NC to Gastonia, NC to Clover, SC. I love it every time i visit them.

I live in TN, but listen online to WFNZ every morning. The Mac Attack is a solid show. The host runs very tight breaks, and they have great national guests everyday.
