| No problem with me. Don't really understand the controversy either unless you are from the middle east and think women should wear burkas in public.
I've got an 8 month old boy. When we were in a restaurant my wife had no problem doing it at the table. If we were in a store she would either go find a quite place to sit down for a min or head out to the car. It's really about her comfort level (public bathroom was never an option). Unfortunately when my wife went back to work it was hard to find time to pump more than once a day and that caused her to wean around six months so we started supplementing. The ped told us there is a measurable difference during the first three months but after that its more about getting the antibodies. So we rationed out the frozen supply until it ran out about a month ago.
