Well, the yeast did just fine. I will be racking it to a carboy tomorrow.

Post pics of your keezer when you get it done. I am heading to Atlanta today and making a stop at Hop City Beer and Wine

Might pick up a homebrew kit while I am there or order a wheat from northern brewer.

My porter is happily conditioning in the secondary. Racked it on Sunday night.

I am in the process of getting all of my materials together. A buddy of mine told me not to just buy a starter kit. He said to just get what I want one piece at a time ex. glass casks and such.

The kits are reasonable online. Also get glass carboys. If you buy the starter glass kit from northern brewer shipping is flat 7.99.

They will only do that flat rate on starter kits. Great deal to have two glass carboys shipped.

The flat rate applies to most things except the carboys.

Switching an Alt to the Carboy today.

Darth - brought your recipe Pumpkin Ale to the fatherland where it also received mixed reviews just like here. Man, this one is the most polarizing one we have done. I tend to think it is one of the better ones, certainly my favorite Pumpkin from any I've had.

Here is my victim. Found it on craigslist for $90. I am just putting in two faucets for now but it will be able to easily accommodate eight. I will post a pic when complete.

Well, the keezer is complete. Here are a few pics. I only have two taps now but each chrome circle is covering a hole for future taps so one day Ill have eight. It was not difficult to build and its really cool.

Thanks, me and a neighbor worked it pretty good last night. The cool thing about these is that you do no damage or drilling to the freezer. If I ever wanted to I could take the collar off mount the lid back and its a freezer again. Also, if it ever quits working all the hardware and temp control is in the collar so I could take it off and mount it to another freezer. If you decide to build one and have any questions let me know. The only thing I had a little trouble with was balancing the system to get a good pour.
