Same here . . . I don't know what it is, but even the thought of green beans makes me feel queasy.

Mushrooms...because they are grown in poop. Not just fertilized, but totally submerged. How in the world do they wash it all off?

I was scarred at an early age. In the 1st grade Jimmy McDaniel dared me to pour ketchup on my green beans and eat it. I did . . . and ended up spewing violently.

It took me until I was about 15 to touch ketchup and 25 years later, I still can't even look at green beans.

....and that's why I don't like green beans . . . .or Jimmy McDaniel.

brussel sprouts

I don't hate em, I mean I'd eat em if I were real hungry. But, I am sure not gonna buy or cook them.

I like to fry my green beans in butter and then add a little ranch dressing to them to cool them off..........it's delicious.

I think we should turn this into the green bean thread. Everyone put down their favorite green bean recipes and we'll send it to GaVol..
